Korte Omschrijving

The object of this assignment is to expand the existing FOCUS apps & developing new FOCUS apps, within the development team of the Antwerp Police Zone. Today this team is about 100 strong!

To be able to carry out this assignment autonomously, Digipolis is looking for a Full Stack Developer with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Node.js, React framework, among others.

In addition to the required technical skills, this assignment is looking for a mature person with extensive experience who is able to think along with business stakeholders to formulate technical solutions for functional issues.
The assignment can be expanded or adapted to other projects or other customers depending on the needs of the board.

What do we expect from the candidate

The candidate has knowledge of and minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience with:

recent and common Frontend development technologies (for example: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, React,…)
recent and common Backend development technologies (for example: Node.js/Express.js, C#/ASP.net Core/Xamarin, PostgreSQL, Redis, Rabbit MQ, Microservices, Elixir, Elastic Search,…)

The candidate has demonstrable knowledge of and experience with the following technologies and methodologies:

Docker (containers)
Atlassian applications (Jira,..)
Scrum
Unit & integration testing

The candidate has the following personal and social skills and has demonstrated these in his career:

Good knowledge (spoken and written) of Dutch is an absolute requirement. A candidate who is not sufficiently proficient in Dutch cannot be awarded the assignment.

Experience & knowledge of the police domain is an added value.
