Data Analyst Sustainability (senior)

As a CSRD Reporting and Data Analyst within the Data and Analytics team, you play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality future reporting of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for bpostgroup. Your focus will be on merging, building and ensuring good data management in accordance with CSRD guidelines and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data provenance by defining where the data comes from, the source systems, and how to interpret the data
• Define how you collect the data from the different source systems and how you integrate with the central data platform
• Define the data model and data assets. Use the data steward’s defined rules to describe how the data should be calculated and aggregated. Ensure that the data is well structured and harmonized and that the quality is guaranteed.
• Work with the development team, reporting team and business team to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting
• Determine how the respective indicators should be reported
• Define how data quality is maintained
• Enter the required information in the data catalog

Qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. environmental sciences, sustainability, data analysis).
• Experience with data analysis, reporting and data governance.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French or English
