As a Functional Analyst, you bridge the gap between business and IT and contribute to delivering innovative, future-oriented solutions within the Public Lighting (OV) domain.
The world of outdoor lighting is evolving rapidly. New developments such as connected lighting, smart cities, citizen participation, energy efficiency, CO2 reduction and sustainable lighting solutions continually create new expectations and opportunities.
In this context, the Functional Analyst supports the further digitalisation and innovation of services relating to public, site, architectural and monument lighting. You help translate new market developments and customer needs into concrete processes, products and IT solutions that align with Fluvius's strategic objectives.
- You work closely with colleagues from various departments, including capital works, operations, asset management, customer service, procurement/logistics and IT, building a strong internal network in the process.
- You analyse complex business issues and cross-domain needs and translate them into clear functional requirements and IT solutions.
- You support the preparation of project definitions, roadmaps and product backlogs and draw on your expertise to actively contribute to the prioritisation of needs.
- You produce functional analyses at a level of detail that enables development teams to deliver solutions efficiently.
- You maintain the balance between functionality, usability, maintainability, scalability and cost-efficiency of the proposed solutions.
- You build support among stakeholders and develop constructive relationships with business analysts, users, architects, developers and other parties involved.
- You contribute to the successful implementation, embedding and optimisation of project outcomes within the organisation.
- You take on KIR (Small Infrastructure Projects) and maintenance activities within the Public Lighting application landscape.
- You apply common project management and process analysis methods and techniques, such as Agile/Scrum, process modelling and continuous improvement.
- You develop and broaden your knowledge of the processes relating to asset management, network operations, customer interaction and supply chain, as well as of the supporting systems, organisation and corporate culture.
