Korte Omschrijving

To complete our infrastructure team – networks/security department, we are looking for an infrastructure network employee with a strong affinity with security.

  • Demonstrable experience as a network specialist
  • Demonstrable experience with system management and system configurations with regard to the applied networking technology
  • Proven experience with network infrastructure (e.g. Cisco Fortigate, ….)
  • Demonstrable experience with Routing & Switching
  • Proven experience in Network Security
  • Demonstrated experience with LAN, WAN protocols
  • Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR – level C2.
Required competencies
  • You are responsible for the daily monitoring of the proper functioning of the network/security infrastructure.
  • You monitor the technical standards and positions.
  • You are responsible for the punctual execution of management tasks in the domains of networks and security. You try to do this as efficiently as possible.
  • You check the performance and availability of the systems.
  • You are responsible for the proactive management of your domains, i.e. proactive patches, bug fixes and service packs.
  • You participate in projects and provide well-founded advice. As an infrastructure manager you are a co-decision maker in designing solutions with regard to manageability.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent through experience.
  • You are aware of the new trends in the network/security field.
  • You have a solid practical knowledge of common network and security protocols and appliances.
  • You can configure and troubleshoot the following: Infoblox DDI, ironport spam filter, Palo Alto firewall, F5/AVI load balancer, ivanti/pulse Connect Secure, SSL Certificates, Crush FTP.
  • Experience in government sector is a plus
  • Experience with Fresh Services is a plus
