Test coordinator (expert)

De Watergroep is looking for a test coordinator in the context of various ICT projects, related to the website/customer zone of De Watergroep and to the rollout of digital water meters.

Context

• (Technical) projects related to an existing customer zone/website
• Projects in the context of the digital water meter chain, with coordination both within the own company and at sector level.
• Phase-wise approach
• Test execution via MS Azure Devops
• Integration with peripheral systems (including an ERP solution based on Microsoft Dynamics365 and UMAX365)

Tasks as test coordinator:

• Prepare test plans and planning in line with De Watergroep’s test strategy;
• Making agreements for the planning of system, integration and acceptance tests;
• Coordinating the test periods with the tests of related projects and with the test activities at sector level, in consultation with the overarching test manager;
• Managing multiple test teams;
• Setting priorities within the assigned test teams, in consultation with the overall test manager;
• Preparing test plans with the necessary test scenarios per tester;
• Briefing to the testers of agreements and rules;
• Organization, guidance and daily follow-up of the tests;
• Follow-up of defect logging;
• Progress reporting and reporting of test results for the tests under his responsibility;
• Follow-up and guidance on testing resolved issues before they are transferred to the live environment;
• Status reporting to the overall test manager, program management and steering committee;
• He/she reports to the overall test manager;

Profile requirements:

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with testing business applications including transaction systems and integrations with related systems (including defining and following up test scenarios, test cases, test data and test environment and drawing up test plans);
• Demonstrated experience in areas of expertise related to quality control;
• Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising extensive multi-functional teams;
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with quality management tools;
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in supervising business acceptance testing;
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR – level C2;
• ISTQB certificate is a plus;
• Knowledge of/experience with using MS Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of the public sector (drinking water) is a plus;
• A hands-on, proactive attitude is necessary;
