Solution Architect (medior)

Introductie

Fluvius is the Flemish distribution network operator responsible for installing, managing and maintaining distribution networks for electricity, natural gas, sewerage and heat, and manages the municipal public lighting park. In total, the company manages 230,000 kilometers of utility lines and 7 million connections. Fluvius is active in all 300 Flemish municipalities.
Within the various business projects in the areas of grid management / grid operation, we are looking for support from a GIS Solution Architect who can help prepare Fluvius’ Asset Application Landscape for the future by:

implementing (new) GIS applications;
adjusting and expanding our current applications;
the integration of the old and new components into a coherent and collaborative whole.

In the context of our activities in the field of ICT architecture, we are looking for support from a Solution Architect.
He or she will:

the existing ICT Architecture, Security & Strengthening Fluvius innovation team;
take on the role of GIS architect in project and product teams (including within the HST program and other projects with GIS needs)
reports to the (internal) responsible Domain / Enterprise architect for these initiatives

The following skills and abilities are expected from the GIS Architect:

Knowledge of Geographic business requirements and GIS solutions at agencies / companies that are responsible for facilities in the public domain;
Functional and technical knowledge of various GIS systems.
Experience as a Solution architect for GIS related solutions.
Knowledge of GIS standards
Knowledge of ESRI solutions

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Modeling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA)
Demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect in a similar environment
Demonstrable experience in a similar business context (number of users > 5000)
Demonstrable experience of the various application communication layers
Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
