INBO is the independent research institute of the Flemish government that substantiates and evaluates biodiversity policy and management through applied scientific research, data and knowledge retrieval.
The Institute for Nature and Forest Research (INBO) is located at Havenlaan 88 in Brussels. You will be part of a team with both internal and external staff. INBO has an active policy on working independently of place and time, which external parties can also use.
Korte Omschrijving
You are an experienced full-stack (.NET) developer who knows your way around cloud environments and you are strong in functionally analyzing user needs.
As a .NET developer you are responsible for the development and maintenance of various front and backend systems. In an AGILE team you also work closely with project leaders, technical team leads, analysts, technical team leads, testers, cloud engineers and other ‘operations colleagues’.
You are communicative and able to play a leading role in simplifying, streamlining and automating software development processes. In addition, in your analyst role you are responsible for mapping functional requirements and business processes surrounding case management.
You pay continuous attention to the reliability and performance of existing and future ANB applications and services. You have knowledge of and use modern development processes and methodologies.
Most of the ANB ICT products run in the AWS cloud within a Microsoft stack (Windows, SQL server, C#), where
the applications and services we develop also increasingly use ‘serverless’ AWS services.
The ‘infrastructure as code’ approach has gone far.
