Do you want to help a Flemish grid operator respond with agility to the rapidly changing energy landscape? As a mid-level functional analyst supply chain & data, you will lead the move from fragmented Excel files to a robust data model and a predictive tool for the business.
The energy landscape is changing very rapidly. The organisation wants to respond with agility and is therefore looking for a hands-on Supply Chain Consultant to bridge the gap between business, supply chain, data and technology.
Specifically, we expect you to:
- analyse existing Excel files and data sources down to the lowest relevant level of detail;
- understand and critically question the underlying supply chain processes, assumptions, parameters and business logic;
- consolidate and structure fragmented and unstructured data;
- take the full journey from Excel files to structured data, a data model, analyses and ultimately a predictive solution;
- design a logical, high-performance and reusable data model;
- help design the functional and data architecture of the future solution and document it in a blueprint;
- translate predictive models and scenario analyses into a practical tool for the business;
- work closely with supply chain experts, key users, data engineers and other stakeholders;
- deliver not just an analysis or prototype, but help build a sustainable, scalable solution.
You start from the current reality: operational processes, business knowledge and data that are often scattered across different systems and Excel files. From there, you translate this information into a robust, future-proof data model that forms the foundation for new analytical and predictive applications.
The goal is explicitly not just to report historical figures. You use data and supply chain knowledge to develop a solution that enables us to look ahead, run scenarios and better forecast future needs, volumes and capacities.
