As a Java Developer, you will help build a database for a Flemish government agency and further expand its soil and geology component. You will work on-site in an Agile team, with sprints and daily stand-ups.
The database is a partnership within the Flemish government between several Flemish government agencies. It focuses on jointly managing and providing access to data and information on the subsurface and soil in Flanders.
As a Java Developer, you will further develop the database's soil and geology component and contribute to extensions of other components, in line with the priorities of the multi-year programme.
- You develop solutions that meet the requirements set out in the functional analysis.
- You carry out the technical analysis of the solution to be built.
- You safeguard the quality of the solutions delivered, in collaboration with colleagues and end users.
- You actively take part in the Agile ceremonies: daily stand-up, sprint planning and sprint review, in which results are evaluated and the new planning is agreed in line with the priorities set by the organisation.
You will be part of the development team, which works according to the Agile methodology on the organisation's premises.
