Are you a Python expert who wants to further develop an in-house Python package for data analysis of soil and subsurface in Flanders? Strengthen the Agile development team of a Flemish government institution in this temporary, high-priority assignment.
The organisation is a partnership within the Flemish government, bringing together various departments and agencies. It focuses on jointly managing and providing access to data and information on the subsurface and soil in Flanders.
You will strengthen the organisation's Agile development team. This is a temporary assignment that has been given high priority in the planning.
- You further develop Python and the in-house Python package so that they can be fully deployed for data analysis on soil and subsurface within the organisation and by its partners.
- You take part in the daily stand-up with the entire development team.
- You provide input for the bi-weekly sprint planning.
- You present results at the monthly sprint review, where the work is evaluated and the new planning is agreed in line with the priorities set by the organisation.
Through your work, you ensure that Python in general, and the in-house Python package in particular, can be fully deployed for data analysis on soil and subsurface. This work has real impact: not only the organisation itself, but all of its partners benefit from it.
You work in an Agile team, where you coordinate daily with the entire development team and your input helps shape the planning.
